Camping, Hiking, & Eating

Last night was my first night camping in a really, really, long time. How did it go? I think that I like the idea of camping more than the reality. I must of woken up at least 50 times. Everything was damp and there was a family of noisy red squirrels that were partying next to our tent first thing in the morning. It sounded like the strangest alarm clock.
Even though the night could have been better, the view outside of our tent was amazing. See for yourself.
Off to check out the park and did the Green Garden hike, don’t be fooled by the name, it was a hike from Hell. Being a girl from Florida, where the only inclines are man-made steps, this hike was a true challenge. It took me at least 4 hours and there were hundreds of steps. On a positive note, it was beautiful hike and a great workout.

Must eat . . . after our long hike . . .  we ate at an amazing place in Woody Point, The Lighthouse Café. Below are some pictures that I took right outside of the café.
On our second night camping, I befriended the mini-van. Tune in to see how camping in a mini-van goes.
