Big City, Lunch at the Sprout, Forts, Geo Center, & a Free Concert in Cupids

Whew, I’m tired just typing the title to this post. Today was a full day. 

Went with the men, Craig, Scott and David to St. Johns and ate at the vegetarian restaurant the Sprout. The food was amazing! However, the service was a bit to be desired. I think it was just our server. http://thescope.ca/scoff/the-sprout-restaurant

Then off to look at huge rocks in the ocean and man-made rocks (forts) at Fort Amherst/lighthouse, Signal Hill and then to look at rocks of every kind at the Geo Center

Landing home for a quick home cooked meal then, off to Cupids to see my favorite Newfoundland band, The Once. It was free, outside on a wharf, and it was cold! The wind was coming off the ocean and it was night time. Brrrr! Even though it was cold, the concert was fantastic. Their sound soothes my soul. Check’em out http://www.theonce.ca/
